The MICHELIN Guide is the world's most authoritative culinary rating system, awarding one to three stars. Three stars represent "worth a special journey" - the highest honor a restaurant can receive. Macao has 19 MICHELIN-starred restaurants in 2025, with changes from 2024: 5 newly promoted One-Star restaurants, and some rating adjustments.

Reservation Recommendations
For three-star restaurants, reservation 4-6 weeks in advance is recommended, especially during Christmas, Lunar New Year, and long holidays; two-star reservations: 2-3 weeks; newly promoted One-Star restaurants (especially Japanese) are often the hardest to book - reserve immediately upon opening. Most restaurants accept reservations via OpenTable or their official websites.
