Indigenous Cultural Fusion
Many Alishan temples incorporate cultural elements from the Tsou tribe and other indigenous peoples, presenting a unique style of harmonious coexistence between Chinese Buddhism and local culture. This cultural fusion is reflected in architectural styles,祭祀 ceremonies, and other aspects.
